Villa Magtafa – Domain Akhdar – Marrakech
Beautifully designed bedrooms mixing Moroccan handicraft and contemporary styles.
The Villa Magtafa comprises four beautifully designed rooms, all unique. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom and individually-controlled heating and air conditioning.
YACINE ROOM
Playing with different shades of green, this double bedroom opens onto our beautifully kept garden and the main patio. Generously proportioned bedroom with high vaulted ceiling and French doors on three sides which give the room a bright and breezy feel and allow for ample natural light.
Queen-sized bed (180×210) or two single beds, the bedroom can accommodate an additional baby cot (available on request).
The room features a TV with satellite channels, air conditioning and a ‘tadelakt’ ensuite bathroom with bathtub supplied with a hairdryer and toiletries.
LUCILE ROOM
A soft, relaxing gold palette makes this double bedroom cool and cosy. Set off the main living-room, this charming bedroom comprises a high vaulted ceiling and three french doors overlooking the garden and the swimming pool. A devotion to local craftsmanship is apparent throughout, ensuring an atmospheric and authentic stay.
The bedroom can accommodate either a queen-sized bed (180×210) or two single beds, and an additional baby cot (available on request).
The room features a TV with satellite channels, air conditioning, a safe and a ‘tadelakt’ ensuite bathroom with shower. It is supplied with a hairdryer and toiletries.
REDA ROOM
Located at the back of the villa and overlooking our shaded terrace, this double bedroom has been richly decorated in warm shades of red and gold. Private, this large double bedroom is inviting and generously proportioned.
Featuring a king-sized bed (180x200cm) or two single beds. The bedroom can accommodate an additional baby cot (available on request).
The room features a TV with satellite channels, free in-room private safe, air conditioning and a ‘tadelakt’ ensuite bathroom with shower. It is supplied with a hairdryer and toiletries.
LEELOU ROOM
Opening onto a terrace with an olive tree in the center, just in front of the Lucile room, this room has been carefully decorated.
Private and peaceful, it has a king-size bed (180 x 200cm) or two single beds, air conditioning and a private bathroom in tadelakt with shower and toilet
BATHROOMS
Villa Magtafa comprises four bathrooms which perfectly showcase architect Charles Boccara’s extraordinary vision for Moroccan-inspired spaces.
Each bathroom uses traditional techniques such as ‘tadelakt’ on the walls and hand crafted Fez tiles on the floors and walls.
Stunning high carved ceilings in the three double bedrooms include star-shaped skylights allowing the light to flow naturally directly into the shower. Each bathroom comes with embroidered towels and complementary toiletries.
